Your Proactive Plan
starts here.

Taylor Proactive Team is evolving — honestly, a little overdue, and for the better. You're one of a small group of clients we're personally inviting to evolve with us. Merrill recorded a message just for you.

Merrill's message plays right here — nothing is loaded from anywhere else.

First, the honest part.

To one of the clients we most want to keep,

A few years ago we changed our name from Taylor Tax Team to Taylor Proactive Team. It wasn't a rebrand — it was a promise: that we would work with you all year, not just show up in April with a bill and a number.

I have to be honest with you: last tax season, we didn't fully keep that promise. Some of our best clients — people like you — got blindsided by tax surprises we should have seen coming months earlier. Not because anyone on my team didn't care, but because our systems didn't let us get ahead in time. That one's on me. And it's the last season it happens.

We've rebuilt how this firm works so that no client we serve is ever surprised by their own tax return again.

Here's what I've watched happen for years: the clients who get the best results aren't the ones who earn the most, or the ones with the simplest returns. They're the ones who call us before — before the sale, before the purchase, before the hire. By the time we sit down in April, the decisions are already made, and all I can do is report them.

So we're changing the shape of the relationship, not just the service. Going forward, TPT works with you year-round, on an ongoing monthly engagement — proactive planning, projections, and your tax return, together — instead of one conversation after the year has already closed. That changes how we bill, too: from a once-a-year preparation fee to a monthly advisory fee. I explain exactly why in the video above.

The part I most want you to hear is what that buys you: you can just call us. No wondering whether a quick question turns into an invoice. And we're going further than tax work entirely — building every plan around your life, your family, your legacy, and the impact you want your money to have long after the return is filed.

We can't do that for everyone. Deep, proactive work doesn't scale to a thousand names on a client list — so we're not keeping a thousand names. We sat down and hand-picked the clients we most want to build the next decade with. You're on that list. This page is your invitation.

Whatever you decide, I need to hear from you by Wednesday, September 30, 2026. If we don't, we'll take it to mean you've chosen to move on — and we'll make that graceful and easy for you too. No hard feelings, ever. You'll see both options at the bottom of this page.

Thank you for trusting us this far. I hope you'll come further.

Founder, Taylor Proactive Team

The same team. A different job.

We're no longer in the business of reporting your past. We're in the business of designing what comes next.

📅

Year-round, by design

An ongoing monthly engagement instead of one conversation in April — planning meetings scheduled while your numbers can still be moved, projections through the year, and your return prepared from a plan we built together. April becomes a formality, not a reveal.

🧭

A plan shaped to your life

Your goals come first — the business exit, the kids, the giving, the second act. Every strategy we run is customized to where you're actually going, not a template.

🏛️

Beyond tax, toward legacy

We're evolving past tax prep into legacy and generational-wealth planning — so the money we save you every year is building something your family keeps.

Tax season ends in April.
Your legacy doesn't.

Here's what we've come to believe after years of watching our best clients succeed: a tax return is a receipt for the past. It tells you what happened. It changes nothing.

The families who build generational wealth don't do it in April. They do it in the quiet months — structuring income before it's earned, positioning assets before they're sold, and pointing every saved tax dollar at something that outlives them: their family, their impact, their name.

That's who Taylor Proactive Team is becoming — not the people who file your paperwork, but the partner who sits on your side of the table for the next thirty years. Every plan we build now starts with your life goals.

And because we've built this entire business on trust, we didn't go looking for a wealth-management partner — we went looking for one we'd trust with our own families, so the dollars we save you have somewhere meaningful to go. We found them. You'll meet them when you're ready.

✦ A plan around your life

Family, business, giving, exit — your goals set the strategy, not the other way around.

✦ Savings that compound

Tax dollars we recover get a destination — invested with intention instead of absorbed by lifestyle.

✦ Wealth that outlives you

Estate, legacy, and generational planning built alongside people we trust with our own families.

What it costs — and what the call actually is.

Merrill mentions the monthly advisory fee in his video. Here's the honest answer about the number.

We're not going to put a price on this page, because we'd be guessing. What the monthly fee comes to depends on your situation — your entities, your income, how much is genuinely moving in a given year. Quoting you a figure before we've looked at that would either overcharge you or set a number we'd have to walk back later. Neither is how we want to start.

The strategy call is not a commitment. It's the conversation where we work out whether this makes sense for you at all.

On the call we'll go through your actual situation, show you what proactive planning would look like in your case, and tell you exactly what it would cost. If it isn't a fit, you'll hear that from us — and we'll part as friends, with the same graceful handoff we'd give anyone.

What booking does do is hold your seat. We're building next year's planning calendar around the clients who tell us they're continuing, so the sooner we know, the better we can plan the year around you. It also means that when you do continue, you move straight across into the new model — no re-onboarding, no new-client paperwork, no starting over with someone who has never seen your file.

Please respond by Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

We're building next year's planning calendar around the clients who say yes, and we'd far rather hear a no than hear nothing at all. If we haven't heard from you by September 30, 2026, we'll understand that you've chosen to move on, and we'll begin a graceful handoff of your records. Either answer is okay. Silence is the only one we can't plan around.

So — shall we keep building?

There's no wrong answer, and no hard feelings either way. We just need to know, so we can take care of you properly in both directions.

Yes — I want to evolve with you.

Hold your seat and book your strategy call. It's a conversation, not a commitment — we'll walk through your situation, what the new model looks like for you, and what it would cost. You'll also see what we've lined up for clients who continue, including the wealth-building side we haven't announced publicly yet.

Now may not be the right time.

Completely okay. We'll say a proper thank-you, and if you'd like, we'll personally introduce you to a heavily-vetted firm we trust and move your information over — so you land somewhere excellent without starting from zero. And if the timing changes down the road, you know where to find us.
